Management and accountant journalSummary: The energy issues plaguing the developing world may be resolved via machines and other supplementary energy sources. India is looking into many renewable energy sources to solve its energy problems, including the Sun, the wind, the ocean, biomass, and fuel cells. To keep up with the rapid growth of its economy, the nation would need to increase its energy production by a factor of three to four. One option that might be used is switching to a different energy source. One-third of Indias primary energy needs are now met by energy produced from renewable sources. Renewable energy sources like solar and wind have become more popular in India because of the priority accorded by the Government thereby decreasing the countrys reliance on fossil fuels, bettering the air quality and guaranteeing the countrys continued survival. India has invested heavily in the study, creation of prototypes, field testing, mass manufacture, and deployment of numerous renewable energy-generating technologies during the last two and a half decades. This article examines these developments and the policy strategies that may help to overcome the barriers and increase the usage of renewable energy.
